As you grow older, you'll find the only things you regret are the things you didn't do. -Zachary Scott

From my friend, Misa, in her latest email (she just found out that she'll be going to Hawaii this summer to visit some friends):
"And about that plan to go to HAWAI!! It is so nice that I made you happy for this idea. You are happy because I am happy, that is so funny! I think that this can uderstand only close people who know me, right? you know how much I dreamed about this and I am at the point to make that step and actually do one of my dreams!! It is wonderful, I feel wonderful. My dreams are going to come tru again..

(by the way the great movie I saw last time in Movies: THE BUCKETLIST is about two men who are going to die and they made a list with some thing they want to do before they die. (the crazy things and the nice normal things as well). The night after I watched this movie, I made my Bucketlist of things I want to do before I die.. And the HAWAI trip is one of them!!! :) I have my list, it is not done yet, it needs to be complete. "

my response:
"I think that Bucketlist is such a great idea. I actually did something like that about 3 years ago. I wrote down SO many things that I think I could do to just make me really happy... small things and huge things, like just driving down PCH at night with the radio off, my car windows down and the heater on inside. That feels so amazing to me for some reason. Or something big, like running a full marathon (26.2) miles before I die. I think it's so important to write things down that make you happy that you want to do because that way, you will have them more fresh in your mind and you'll be more likely to actually do them, and everyone should do what they love to do. everyone has that right to. A few weeks ago, I started a blog. I'm not sure if you already use the term blog, but it's basically a journal and it's usually online. http://sarahsdistraction.blogspot.com/ <-- that's where I just wrote down the things that I want to accomplish this summer, but now that you've made me think of it, I think I should write down my updated Bucketlist!! I think it's time. Although, I can honestly say I am in such a great time in my life... with Ryan, with ym family, with the few close friends I have- even though I could see them all more often- that I don't feel the need at this point in time to do so many things other than what I am doing right this second. I mean, I know there are a BILLION places and cultures to see and photographs waiting for me to take and activities for me to do, but I know that they aren't necessary to have in my life. I want to see them all, take all those pictures and do all those things, but I don't HAVE to because I would be totally happy with what I have now for the rest of my life! I think I am so damn lucky that I can say that right now!! Misa, I don't know where all of this is coming from, but it's just coming out! Oh well, it's all true. OK well either way- if we do all of the things on our new bucketlists or not before we die, I am just glad that we have them!! Thank you for inspiring me. :) "

My Bucketlist (it's rough draft, anyway):
-Run a marathon
-Skydive
-Go on a hot air balloon ride

-Marry Ryan!
-Be an amazing wife

-...Learn to surf again
-Have a yard big enough to play soccer and/or catch on and to have a zip line through it
